SPECIAL CHAPTER! : The28 Cheras "Drama"

Special Chapter ini ditulis diatas kemahuan saya sendiri. sebab rasanya rugi kalau tak catat kenangan tersebut dan simpan didalam hati sahaja haha... mana tahu satu hari nanti bila seorang Baiti dah berumur ke dah bersara ke, tiba tiba terjumpa blog digitalisasi yang mungkin dah berhabuk ni, and this chapter akan mengingatkan kembali moment yang takkan lupa ye sampai bila bila haha... 

The 28 Cheras, it was fun.. It was fun.. 

Cerita dia, kami pelajar BSPPM telah diberikan task oleh Dr. Fareed untuk menemuramah our beloved client. Our friends ramai yang choose to make it an online session, but we, Eatoeats.co prefer to make it offline, dan merasai sendiri bagaimana kedai tersebut berfungsi dan how their real identity. So, Baiti, Alia, Anis and Nurin decided to met them on Selasa Week 9, physically, after Nurin's class.

20 Mei 2025, Selasa, 3.00 pm

Baiti, Alia and Anis habis kelas pada pukul 12, manakala Nurin habis kelas pada pukul 3. So kami berempat bergerak ke MRT UPM pada pukul 3pm, Baiti Alia Anis menaiki motor, manakala Nurin dihantar oleh sahabatnya..

We met at MRT, cuaca agak mendung ye, right after we three parking motor, pap tiba tiba hujan.. alhamdulillah, kami tak sempat dibasahi hujan.. 

A day before the session, kami dah bincang sama ada nak pergi kesana dengan cara yang bagaimana? we got 3 options ;

1. Pergi ke The28 Cheras dengan menaiki grab dari UPM

2. Pergi ke The28 Cheras fully by MRT , kena tukar tukar (MRT UPM - MRT TRX (tukar pergi kajang line) - MRT Sri Raya ) - Jalan ni jauh wooo

3. Pergi The28 Cheras naik MRT sampai Sungai Besi, and take grab to The 28 cheras (sebab mrt sungai besi paling dekat compared to UPM)

So, cuba teka kitorang pilih option mana??

kitorang goes with option 3 gaess.... hahhahaha... 

Everything was fine, smooth like butter they said.. 

We arrived MRT sungai besi and it was heavily raining... but we did'nt expect the worse you see... we took the grab, and the location we pin is Rumah Nombor 28, since the 28 cheras tu bersempena rumah dia number 28, and there are no exact location The 28 dalam grab tu.. we did'nt expect much weh... 

Driver dia cina, lelaki, and diam je sepanjang perjalanan tu.. and the perjalanan agak jauh ye actually.. tak sangka ia sejauh itu, nasib baik dapat harga murah weh, dalam rm 13 je rasanya dari MRT sungai besi tu, it is worth it la sebab kami share 4 orang kan?? 

TAPIIIIII........

Finally we arrived at the destination... but yeah? what destination? rupanya aku pergi pin location salah dalam grab tu ye... YES it is MEMANG rumah number 28, but it was a different lot. So, rumah 28 yang kami stop tu is a rumah terbiar.... 

AND IT WAS SUPER HEAVILY RAINING AT THAT TIME! TT

Kitorang dah mula gelabah la weh, dalam kereta tu kitorang dah macam ehhh? ehhhhh?? 

Awak rasa apa jadi lepastu? hahaha.. the driver was super nonchalant, he still say that we arrived our destination, and dia still turunkan kitorang yang tiada payung dan tempat berteduh.. weh it was super messy and kejadian dia sangat cepat.. he has lack of empathy tho.. dia tengok je ktorang and dia pergi mcmtu je.. padahal, 1 kilometer je weh nak sampai the28 cheras tu... 

LONGEST 1km IN MY LIFE HAHAHA

Kitorang berjalan weh, nak taknak kami redah je hujan tu, Nurin luckily have a payung, and we four shared that one payung and jalan super slowly together... bayangkan, dahla hujan tu lebat gila, and THE LOPAK HUJAN was literally EVERYWHERE haahahaha... 

We jalan super slowly, dengan berhati hati takut terpijak kaki orang depan, dengan nak lindung beg taknak kena hujan, dengan dah pakai siap cantik cantik nya masing masing.. pergh barai gila haha...

The journey feels like there's no ending ye... 

The hujan become more aggresive, dengan petir sana sini, kitorang asyik almost kena simbah dengan lopak yang dipijak kereta lori van yang lalu lalang hahaha pity us TT (Dr please give us markah lebih for our effort HAHAHAHA) 

Suddenly kami nampak pondok usang yee, and we decided to stop there... memang dah lencun weh semua... fuh kenangan betul mandi hujan macamni... kasut semua dah masuk air, dahla kitorang pakai sandal yang not water friendly... (KASUT ALIA WAS ROSAK AND YES ALIA HAS BUANG THE KASUT THAT SHE WEAR THAT DAY) - ok ni tak sure betul ke tak haha

We made some videos, selfies on the pondok, bayangkan that pondok itself tak berteduh mana sebab the zinc was usang, berlubang lubang, and memang air literally menitik je on us hahaha... 

Kitorang stays sampai hujan become less aggresive, but still not stop ye sebab macam takde hint nak stop, and we teruskan perjalanan and after 15 minutes of berjalan finally we arrived at our client's cafeee!!

Finally we met our client, Encik Rizal..

First impression?? OMG he was very very fun person.. very fun, very not an awkward session, banyak celoteh tau client kita.. belum apa apa dah banyak gelak dalam sesi temuramah dengan beliau. 

So, we memang dah rakam his voice for the session, and interview berlangsung very smoothly.. Beliau cerita la asal usul cafe ni, how he and his business partner operates the cafe only berdua.. They run the business almost 1 year lebih dah, and one thing that I ingat about this session is how he don't want to anggap their cafe competitor as a "COMPETITORS". dia cakap semua dorang tu as kawan kawan, rakan seperjuangan.. 

SUDDENLY....

His business partner, Encik Rico come to us and bisik something to Encik Rizal and Encik Rizal minta diri kejap sebab ada hal, dalam 2-3 minit macamtu papppp tiba tiba Encik Rizal serves us Tea and Cakes??

OMG SUMPAH TERHARU WEHHH TT

dia nak kami rasa sendiri how their products are, he serves us their signature foods and drinks, 

• Magic Tea 
• Signature Orange Cake 
• Signature Banana Cake

AND sumpahhh SEMUAAA SEDAPPP GILAAA?

All the cakes and products are freshly baked everyday, Encik Rizal yang bake semua sendiri, Weh orange cake tu sedapppp gilaaaaaa, he said that he perah the juice by himself. sumpahhh sedap!! 100000/10

Encik Rizal sumpah mengingatkan kami kepada lecturer kesayangan kami, Prof Shahrim, Prof yang pernah ajar kami masak masak waktu kami junior year... almost all sama macam prof, cara cakap, cara memek muka, baik dia, cuma encik rizal ni versi muda weh.. sumpah sebijikk..

And we also always mentioned that Encik Rizal ni fun macam our beloved Dr Fareed too.. and kami keep mention that kalau encik rizal and dr fareed jumpa mesti fun gilaaaa... bestnya kalau dapat lepak setable sama sama hahahah best weh sumpahhh... The ambiance are superrr welcoming, and how they treat us nicely, buatkan kami lupa how susah to come there.. EVERYTHING WAS WORTH IT... our client Baik snagat sangat sangattt... we even feel like want to come back there again in the future... sumpah best..

after the session, kami order weh dia punya foods and beverages, sumpah semua murah and SEDAPPPP!! bayangkan, Tea dia rm4 je weh? dahla sedap gila, rasa very not typical.. macam ada hint of strawberry mcmtu rasa dia... 

Srs talk the harga is murah for cafe standard

The kedai tutup pukul 6, and we duduk situ sampai almost 7, pagar pun dah tutup, but encik rizal was like "just take your time", we ordered grab balik upm terus as encik rizal suggested us to do that, and before we back to UPM, suddenly he asked us on bila kelas dengan Prof Shahrim and Dr Fareed?? We was like, ehh Prof dah tak ajar kami dahh encik rizal.. so he still tanyaa owhh laaa kalau macamtu bila kelas Dr Fareed? and we said that Khamis niii, and he asked if we have chiller and yes we did.. 

Tiba tiba before we go, Encik Rizal give us a cake, suruh kirim kepada Dr, and we just likee aaaa terharu sangat weh sebab dia baik sangat TT, even dengan Dr pun dia nak buat baik tauuuu... and also he suruh us kirim the cawan with his handwritten notes 

"Dr Fareed, hope to see you soon" 

actually he want to kirim coffee too but yeah sebab kelas Dr lagi dua hari kan... so instead he gives their coffee cup jee.. Dr, datang laa cafe tuu, and cakap saya lecturer budak budak nii, mana tauuu dr dapat cake free kee HAHAHAHAHA.. best sangat sembang dengan encik rizal...

Btw encik rico (business partner) dia is an introvert, tu yang dari tadi kami sebut encik rizal.. 

So, bila nak balik tu, Encik Rizal hantar us weh, dia bukak kan pintu pagar and make sure grab dah sampai baru release us keluar.. baik betul TT... will come back in the future tho...

We finally arrived at UPM dalam lepas maghrib macamtu.. alhamdulillah everything went well...

Next, fuh susah yaa nak kirim cake kepada Dr Fareed nii hahhaaa... kami nak jumpa Dr pada rabu sebab the cake is still fresh, and Dr not available.. andd pap hari khamis suddenly takde class pulakkkkk.. and kami ingatkan dr akan kembali ke bilik dr laa lepas session kat IOI with PMX tu, laaa rupanya Dr tak balik bilik Dr... maaf Dr sebab kami main tinggal jee di tombol pintu bilik Dr.. mianhae..

In class week 10, pergh puas hati gila dapat cerita kat Dr on our pengalaman today.. best gilaaa and love the way Dr macam appreciates our effort...
